Years ago, Twitter had RSS feed icons on all profiles so users could easily access their own personal feeds (or feeds for other users). An RSS feed of your Twitter profile is very handy if you want to send your tweets to a blog or another social network. You can also gather the Twitter RSS feeds from people you follow and stick them into an RSS reader, which is handy if you want to create your own custom Twitter list but don't like Twitter's native list feature.

TwitRSS.me is by far one of the fastest and simplest ways to generate an RSS feed from Twitter. You don't need to do anything technical and you can create your feeds within seconds.

TwitRSS.me has two options: RSS feeds for a particular user's tweets and RSS feeds for a term that you'd typically plug into the Twitter search field. The latter is super useful if you want to follow trending terms or hashtags.


For the Twitter user RSS feed option: Simply type the Twitter handle of the user you want into the corresponding field. You can optionally include all the replies they send to other users by checking off the With replies? box.

For the Twitter search RSS feed option: Just type the search term into the corresponding field.


Select the big blue Fetch RSS button to create your feed.


Copy Your RSS Feed URL and Save It Somewhere


If you're using a browser like Google Chrome, you'll see a bunch of code on the next page. If you're using a browser like Mozilla Firefox, you'll see a feed of posts with the option to add them to your Live Bookmarks.

What you really want, ideally, is the URL of the feed. If your feed is for a user, it should look something like:


Add the link to your browser bookmarks or save it somewhere (like in Evernote using the Web Clipper extension) so you never lose it and can access it whenever you want. Then you can go ahead and use the feed with the RSS-friendly service of your choice.
